Uptown Belle

Hey guys! seriously, TGIF!!
As many of you may know from my Instagram, I competed for the title of Miss New York United States this past weekend. Although the outcome wasn't exactly how I hoped, like every competition I feel stronger both mentally and physically and have learned something new about myself.

Yesterday (March 8th) was International Women's Day, and my social media was flooded with so many inspiring posts. That's one thing I have to say I'm most proud of being apart of this generation. We are movement creators, ambitious, and pro-active.  Women especially, have made social media into a career and have used this platform for more than just posting pictures of cute outfits and food. I'm a firm believer in the phrase "You are who you hang out with." That is why I aim to surround myself with motivating, educated, "Girl Bosses" who want to see one another succeed.

This is my kind of look!
I'm a sucker for bell sleeves, this top was one of my Black Friday finds and I got it for almost nothing. I decided to pair it with these fun embellished jeans *Spring trend alert* and this adorable sequin bag from Aldo. Shout out to fellow blogger friend http://fromthreadstoglam.com/ for the bag, I was the lucky winner of her giveaway!
Hope you guys enjoy this look and have a wonderful weekend!!!
